Terms & Conditions — XSec CTF Easy #1 2026
Last updated: 2026
By registering for XSec CTF Easy #1 2026 ("the Competition"), organized by XSec Solutions, you agree to the following:
1. Eligibility & Registration
The Competition is free to enter and open internationally. You must register with accurate information. One account per participant — this is a solo (non-team) event.
2. Code of Conduct
- No cheating. Solve challenges using your own skills and research.
- No attacking the platform. Attack the challenges, not the CTF infrastructure itself. Attempting to disrupt, scan, or exploit the platform is a violation, not a valid solve.
- No sharing flags. Flags are proof you solved a challenge yourself.
- No brute-forcing the platform. Automated attacks against login, flag submission, or any other endpoint are not allowed and are monitored/rate-limited.
- Respect other participants and organizers. Harassment or disrespectful conduct is not tolerated and may result in disqualification.
3. Scoring, Prizes & Certificates
Final standings are determined by the platform's scoring system. Organizer decisions on scoring disputes, broken challenges, or rules interpretation are final. Every participant who competes receives a certificate of participation; top performers receive additional prizes as described on the event website. Prize fulfillment details (where applicable) will be communicated directly to winners after the event.
4. Platform Use
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. XSec Solutions is not liable for actions taken through your account if your credentials are compromised due to your own negligence (e.g. sharing your password).
5. Changes
XSec Solutions may update these terms, the schedule, or the challenge set before or during the event if necessary (e.g. to fix a broken challenge). Material changes will be announced on the platform.
